# Tables

The Tables section of a Database or External database pool lists its tables. Agents query them with typed filters, sorting and totals, so questions such as "all orders between 1 March and 30 June" or "revenue per region" get exact answers.

# Importing a CSV file

In a Database pool, drag a CSV file onto the upload area, or click it to choose one. Tab-separated files work too. Each file can be up to 25 MB.

An Import preview opens before anything is stored:

  1. Check the Encoding. If umlauts or accented letters look wrong, or show as , try another one, such as Windows-1252 instead of UTF-8.
  2. Check the Table name, and change it if needed.
  3. Check the column types in the preview of the first rows. They are worked out automatically: text, number, true/false, or date and time.
  4. Click Import table.

The first row is used as the column headers, and the delimiter is detected automatically.

If the pool already has a table with that name, the button reads Overwrite table: importing replaces that table's columns and all its rows.

Imported tables count towards your Data Pool's storage. Like documents, each table gets an AI-written description and topics, so agents know what it holds.

# The table list

Each table shows its name, its columns and its number of rows. Preview shows the first rows, and Delete removes the table and all its rows at once. Agents stop seeing a deleted table immediately.

# External database tables

In an External database pool, the tables come from the connected database. They are read in the background after the pool is created and appear here without an upload area. Agents query them exactly like CSV tables; every query runs read-only against your database, which is never copied.
