# Search Web

The Search Web feature allows agents to access real-time information from the internet using a built-in web search tool. This is especially useful for answering questions that require up-to-date data, referencing live content, or retrieving external sources.

# Features

  • Perform live web searches directly from the chat
  • Toggle the feature on/off per agent or per query

# How to Use

  1. While chatting with an agent, type a question that requires up-to-date information (e.g., "What’s the weather in Tokyo today?" or "Who won the latest F1 race?").
  2. If the agent has web access enabled, it will automatically trigger a real-time search.
  3. The agent will return a summarized response, often with source links or citations.

# Enabling Web Search

Web search must be enabled per agent:

  1. Go to the agent configuration panel.
  2. Scroll to the Tools section.
  3. Enable the toggle labeled “Search”.

# Use Cases

  • Get the latest news, sports scores, or market data
  • Retrieve facts that aren’t stored in the agent’s static memory
  • Verify information using reliable, real-time sources
  • Power use cases like concierge services, booking lookups, or live recommendations

# Notes

  • Web search may introduce latency, depending on the query
  • Responses are based on publicly available information from search engine results
  • Web access is sandboxed and does not access private or paid content
